Illuminations

The following easy essays, written in Spring 2024, were originally included in Love in Rage. I felt they have a character of their own that draws them apart from the others. Whereas that collection is caught in the gravity of the genocide in Gaza and the solidarity encampments, these easy essays are pulled to a different, but not wholly unrelated, realm: the mystical. I hope that by pulling them apart, both collections can breathe, more freely and more fully, on their own terms.
